Warranty

Launch blocker — legal review pending

The /revive/ page makes binding warranty claims ("5-year warranty", "10-year repair commitment"). Without fully drafted warranty terms on this page, that is concrete legal exposure under § 305 BGB (B2B). The final terms must be signed off by Mike and legal counsel before launch.

We stand behind what we deliver. The key points of our voluntary manufacturer warranty and our repair commitment — the legally binding wording will be provided by Mike.

5-year warranty

[Mike to deliver — full warranty text: scope (which product lines), duration (5 years from delivery date), covered defects, exclusions, claims procedure, relationship to statutory warranty rights. Source: claim made on /revive/.]

10-year repair commitment

[Mike to deliver — full text: what counts as "repair" (repair, replacement, equivalent substitution), eligibility conditions, handling of discontinued models, responsible warrantor (for Revive: AKZENTLICHT as the new CE-responsible manufacturer under EU Blue Guide 2022). Source: claim made on /revive/.]

Relationship to statutory warranty

Statutory warranty rights (B2B: 1 year, B2C: 2 years under BGB) remain unaffected. The warranties described here are voluntary additional manufacturer guarantees that apply alongside statutory rights.

How to file a claim

[Mike to deliver — step sequence for warranty handling: contact channel, required documents (order number, delivery date, defect description, photos), processing time, repair-vs.-replace policy, return shipping logistics.]

Delivery terms

Launch blocker — terms pending

A footer-linked but empty delivery-terms page is concrete legal exposure under German B2B commercial law: retention of title, transfer of risk, notice of defects (HGB § 377) and jurisdiction would otherwise default to BGB silence. This page must be replaced with Mike-approved terms before launch.

The legally binding version of the delivery terms is the German Lieferbedingungen. This English summary is provided as a courtesy. In case of divergence, the German text prevails.

The key points of our delivery and payment terms for the project business. Full terms will be filed before launch.

Full delivery terms / T&Cs

[Mike to deliver — full delivery terms / T&Cs: formation of contract & order confirmation, prices & payment terms, lead times & partial deliveries, transfer of risk & shipment (Incoterms), retention of title, notice of defects under HGB § 377, withdrawal & cancellation of custom builds (configurator, Revive, Gewerklicht), jurisdiction and applicable law. Source: must be drafted by legal counsel.]

What applies until then

  • Orders are accepted only upon written order confirmation.
  • Custom builds from the configurator, Revive and Gewerklicht are excluded from cancellation once manufacturing has been released.
  • Lead times are agreed per project; partial deliveries are possible by arrangement.
  • Retention of title until full payment.
  • Notice of defects under HGB § 377 for B2B customers.
  • Jurisdiction and applicable law: Germany.

This summary does not replace the full T&Cs. It is provided as orientation only until the final text is filed.

Lighting experts & advice

Lighting experts are authorised partners who represent our brands in the region — from showroom to lighting design to installation. Where you are looking for in-person advice, a lighting expert near you is the most direct route.

What a lighting expert covers

  • In-person advice on Akzentlicht, Revive, SIKI Europe and Gewerklicht.
  • On-site lighting design and sampling, including complex renovation projects.
  • Coordination of installation through the local electrical trade.

Lighting experts near you

The previous postcode search at revivemap.akzentlicht.de is being re-embedded as part of the rebuild. Until then, Akzentlicht Support will route you to the right partner — write to support@akzentlicht.de with your postcode and a short project description.

[Mike to confirm — will the Railway-hosted map (revivemap-production.up.railway.app) be embedded as an iframe, or rebuilt natively? Brand scope: does a lighting expert represent only Akzentlicht, or also Revive / SIKI / Gewerklicht?]
